According to the FDA's release statement released in May of 2009, there have been 23 reports of health problems, ranging from jaundice and elevated liver enzymes, to liver damage requiring a liver transplant. The one death that occurred was caused by liver failure. Approximately 9 million people have used various Hydroxycut products, and reports suggest that liver damage not only surfaces while the diet pills are being taken, but could continue to occur for months after it is stopped.Symptoms of liver failure can include jaundice, nausea, vomiting, excessive fatigue, weakness, abdominal pain and loss of appetite. The other health problems reported included seizures, cardiovascular disorders, kidney failure and muscle damage. - Liver Damage
